As it’s the auspicious day of Diwali, messages and greetings are pouring in. I am replying with some cliche phrases ‘Same to you, ‘Have a prosperous Diwali’ etc. And then I wonder, what would the most wonderful Diwali wish be for myself, on this day of Mother Laxmi (Goddess of wealth). A story I read somewhere on Watsapp or some other site came to mind. With that in mind, I wish unto you and me that Maa Laxmi showers her blessings such that :-))
“That you be not bothered by inflation. That whenever you go to buy groceries, fuel, something your kids want; that whenever you have to pay school fee or tuition fee, that whenever your bills and your taxes and taxes on bills are paid in full, and after that, if you wish to indulge in something for your fun/ a little luxury, Goddess Laxmi bless you so that ‘ Whenever you put your hands in your pockets, it comes out with exactly the amount of money you need, every time’.
